CHANCE provides field-based experience and professional development that make a difference.

CHANCE believes that when teachers are engaged in environmental research and conservation biology experiences, they are likely to develop a more in-depth understanding of biodiversity and, in turn, be better equipped to facilitate their own students' understanding of biodiversity.

CHANCE believes that by learning science through inquiry and experience, a teacher then enhances the teaching of science in his/her own classroom.

CHANCE believes that when teachers share their CHANCE experiences and passion for protecting life on Earth, their students are encouraged to help sustain the living world in their own lifetime.
