Ecology Project International Teacher Fellowships

The EPI Teacher Fellowship was established in 2013 as a professional development program that gives a diverse range of educators an opportunity to collaborate with one another on real-world conservation projects and learn EPI's methods for teaching field science. Spend 8 days connecting with other educators, developing field science skills, and exploring amazing locations.

Lessons On Environment For K-12 Educators

USDA Forest Service resources for water education are free and engaging. Get ready for the upcoming year's curriculum by adding lessons on global forest issues, outdoor projects that involve planting trees, removing waste, identifying and eliminating invasive species, and building bridges and trails, and how actions of individuals in a watershed can impact environmental quality and human health.

Create or Join a SciStarter in 2021

SciStarter is a globally acclaimed, online citizen science hub where more than 3,000 projects, searchable by location, topic, age level, etc, have been registered by individual project leaders or imported through partnerships with federal governments, NGOs, and universities.

SciStarter helps bring together the millions of citizen scientists in the world; the thousands of potential projects offered by researchers, organizations, and companies; and the resources, products, and services that enable citizens to pursue and enjoy these activities.

PA Pathways to Green School program

Pennsylvania’s Pathways to Green Schools Program recognizes schools across the commonwealth as they design, build, and implement environmental literacy and sustainability plans in their school, district, or postsecondary institution in their quest to achieve ED-GRS recognition.

The 2020-21 application for both the ED-GRS program and PA Pathways to Green School program is now available on the Pennsylvania Department of Education (PDE) website. All applications must be submitted online to PDE, along with all supplemental materials, by 6:00 PM on Friday, January 6, 2021. Applications submitted by other methods will not be accepted.

U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service Grant Opportunity

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service's National Wildlife Refuge System is accepting proposals from non-profit, state, and local government youth and veteran serving organizations with the interest and capacity to work cooperatively with the USFWS to develop introductory educational experiences in natural resource careers to young people and veterans, including culturally, ethnically and economically diverse students, and underserved communities.
